Folio: Who’s Next campaign

In the lead up to the 2013 Federal Election, I was approached by CHE Proximity for a contract role as a digital copywriter/content editor and community manager for the Who’s Next campaign.

The client was The Australian Salary Packaging Industry Association (ASPIA), who was involved in the political landscape through a campaign involving social media, TV and online.

My role included:
– Research Fringe Benefits Tax and related industries
– Develop and write Facebook status updates and tweets for @FBT_WhosNext
– Identify and write up statistics for reference in social environment
– Develop and write content proposals and case studies to be included in reports twice weekly
– Develop and write copy for various aspects of the campaign, including writing the Facebook Reach Block ad
– Trial and error of layout in staging site and edit in back-end (HTML) of the website www.whosnext.com.au
– Attend client meetings and liaise with client direct for social and website content
– Reassure client in the social environment and determine best responses
– Develop ideas for infographics (sketches and content)
РDevelop and write 5 generic tweets to send out during the Kevin Rudd/Tony Abbott People’s Forum 22/08/13 and again on 28/08/13
– Proof-read reports and documents and give feedback
– Edit various content and fact-check
– Develop breakdown for ASPIA case study script and write script
– Prepare Online Monitoring and Weekend Reports for the final week
